Faro, Loulé and São Brás de Alportel are the Algarve municipalities traversed by the historic National Road number 2; it connects Portugal from north to south and invites visitors to embark on an unhurried journey by car, motorbike or motorhome, discovering a wide range of landscapes, uplands and plains, ancient cities, villages and places off the beaten track, nature, heritage, culinary treats and traditions.
In order to create a souvenir of this journey, there is also a passport containing the identification of all the municipalities crossed by the EN2, which can be stamped along the whole length of a road that is unique in Europe, in tourist offices, cafés or accommodation facilities.
