The Algarve is equipped with modern amenities among which are municipal auditoriums that have good technical facilities, and are sufficiently comfortable and versatile to host the most varied of events.
Built with the objective of giving the city a centre which would promote the dissemination of art, the Auditório Municipal de Albufeira (Albufeira Municipal Auditorium) also possesses excellent technical facilities. With a capacity to accommodate 368 people, it frequently hosts conferences and is also an ideal venue for concerts, theatrical works and cinema screenings.
Also at the service of culture and entertainment, the new Auditório Municipal de Lagoa (Lagoa Municipal Auditorium) is a multi-purpose project which hosts conferences and different cultural events.
The Auditório Municipal de Portimão (Portimão Municipal Auditorium) is a place which stands out because of its aesthetic originality. It has the capacity to accommodate 1000 people and was renovated in 1999 to provide the latest in technical (sound and light) support facilities and enhance comfort, making it a suitable venue for various types of business and cultural initiatives.
The Olhão Municipal Auditorium will enable a wide range of events to be presented. It combines a bold, modern space with the remains of its industrial past in the preservation of the emblematic chimney of the old canning factory, which now serves as a nesting place for a family of storks.
The main auditorium of the University of the Algarve and the Escola superior de Gestão, Hotelaria e Turismo (Higher School of Management, Hotel and Tourism) in the campuses of Gambelas and Penha respectively, both located in Faro, are other venues available for business workshops, conferences, seminars, lectures, talks, and launches of products and services.
