The pleasure of Natural Produce

The flavour of food produced organically is unmistakeable.  With the benefits of sound agricultural practices, cultivated in fertile soil as part of a balanced ecosystem, aimed at promoting animal welfare, these products are sold throughout the region in association with the agrotourism industry.

At the Quinta dos Lopes  in São João (Lagos), wines and liqueurs are produced and award-winning vegetables are cultivated.  

Similarly, the Quinta da Ana Velha in Quelfes (Olhão) excels in horticulture and cattle rearing.

Among the specialties sold at the Quinta do Freixo in Benafim (Loulé), are fruit compotes and aromatic herb mixtures.  There is also a restaurant, and rustic-style accommodation is available.

At the Quinta do Penedo in São Bartolomeu de Messines, the owners offer sporting activities linked to the philosophy of Agriculture as Friend of Nature. 

At the Quinta da Fornalha Farm in Castro Marim, in addition to agriculture, there is traditional salt mining and a dairy factory. 

The Quinta da Figueirinha in Silves produces tasty dried fruits, liqueurs, marzipan and carob bread.
