The year is 1955. The place, a Mexican canteen in Mexico City, owned by Pancho.

It is there that Che Guevara meets his friends and together they prepare the revolution. Pancho is a curious and amusing character, who takes making a record with his mariachi friends and his daughter Angelita more seriously than running his canteen.
