Aljezur is set to have its first five-star hotel, after yesterday’s approval of the building project by the Municipal Council. Fourteen million euros, 59 rooms and 118 beds – these are just some of the figures involved in the project.

The hotel is financed by home-grown investors, and, although building work has yet to begin, it will include a spa and an indoor swimming-pool, as well as two outdoor pools and another organic one.
